Holcim (Deutschland) GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of building materials in Germany, Jona / Switzerland, which operates in around 80 countries and employs a good 90,000 people. The product segments binders, aggregates and concrete form the core areas of the Holcim Deutschland Group, whose management holding is Holcim (Deutschland) GmbH, based in Hamburg. The group of companies employs around 1,800 people at over 130 locations in twelve federal states.
The very high demands on product quality require a valid test of the materials.
That is why Holcim entrusted us with the equipment of their laboratory. Because we also attach great importance to the quality and sustainability of our products.

Even today, more than 140 years after it was founded, cement and concrete are our passion, and we are proud that over the years we have increasingly been able to develop into what defines VDZ today: We see ourselves as partners along the entire value chain Construction. It is our aim, as a competence center, to further develop the manufacture and use of cement and concrete and to support all those involved.
We set up the entire VDZ test laboratory including all test devices 28 years ago.
Due to the longevity and high quality of our products, we received another order from VDZ to set up another laboratory. This assignment reflects the high level of trust that our customers place in us.
TBW Umkirch GmbH - Freiburg
The fresh concrete plant is completely made of stainless steel and is used for the rational production of concrete samples.
In order to ensure a smooth and fast test procedure, the work tables with integrated testing devices for the production of concrete samples were arranged in such a way that an optimal process flow is guaranteed for the employee. The adjoining roller conveyor is used for mould storage and easy transport of the moulds.

Mitteldeutsche-Hartstein-Industrie - Frankfurt am Main
In addition to preparing suitability tests for the production of asphalt mixes and concretes, MHI ensures the high quality standards in the mineral, asphalt and concrete sector of the MHI Group.
For the concrete testing sector, ratioTEC was allowed to set up a complete fresh concrete laboratory. In order to be able to serve several fields of work simultaneously and to guarantee a smooth and fast workflow, the stainless steel work tables with integrated testing devices were arranged in a middle station in successive work steps.
The large table top is made of one piece without edges so that a quick and easy cleaning of the surface is possible.
Norcem - Norway
The sample storage basin is completely made of stainless steel.
Due to special tests, the inner basin and floor grid is made of PP material, as this material has a high resistance against acid and lye.
Due to the integrated, digital temperature controller with a high accuracy, a constant temperature maintenance up to max. +30°C is possible.
